My favorite drink lately is the Suja cold pressed green juice. If you’ve seen it at the grocery store, you know it’s a little expensive but has all healthy ingredients. My favorite variety includes cucumber, celery, lemon, and apple, among other things. In an effort to save some money, I decided to try out my new juicer from Puraflows and see if I can make a similar recipe of my favorite Suja drink.
As you can see, I decided to use celery, cucumber, lemon, baby spinach, and granny smith apples (organic produce only).

The Puraflows juicer went to work separating the juicer and the pulp. It worked quickly and was easy to use. I just chopped the fruit and vegetables up to a manageable size (see above photo) and dropped them into the machine. The pulp came out in a separate cup and it made a tasty topping on my burger that I had for lunch.

In the end, it yields about 19 ounces of juice. I was afraid it would taste too strong like vegetables, but it was surprisingly sweet! And the only thing that sweetened it was the lemon and granny smith apples. In comparison to the Suja drink I normally buy, I would say it was even better. Overall, I would highly recommend this recipe when you feel like you need to get more vegetables in your diet or if you need some energy. I would drink it every day if I could!
